Dawson Multimedia has launched its new website. The new site helps to communicate the core services we offer our clients. We have added a news section and a blog for future development and discussions for all things design related.
In the weeks to come, we will be adding more content getting deeper into the specifics of each area of service we offer. The site will be expanded even further to include online project surveys and a support desk.
Recon Test Equipment
Recon Test Equipment Inc’s new website has been launched. Their new site showcases over 4500 products where visitors can request instant quotes on products and download pdf specifications. The web site was built on the zencart core and customized to include a want-list mailing system that contacts over 800 vendors and records the responses they give. This system was built into the zencart admin section using modifications of the zencart newsletter mailer along with a way to display and filter all of the recorded responses.
The main functionality of the site was to display products offered by Recon Test and to provide perspective customers with an accurate quote for their requirements. I took the zencart product template and modified it so that each product page would have a quick quote form right next to the product description using the core zen mail function. The idea was to lessen the amount of click the customer had to do to get their quote information.

Locke Well & Pump Company has been a leader in the water and wastewater industry since 1952. They are experts in pump service, chlorination, and well abandonment. Their new website allows its customers to shop and purchase over 1200 products using multiple forms of payment and view product information.
We developed the site using the zencart core and custom designed its look and template system adding jquery elements. We customized the backend to provide a very detailed reporting system to track sales performance. We also coupled the new site with an aggressive seo and web marketing campaign to attract new customers and drive incoming traffic.
