Yuki Hana Japanese Fusion

Yuki Hana Japanese Fusion is a family owned and operated sushi restaurant in Oviedo Florida. They offer a variety of modern Japanese tastings, classic dishes with a modern spin, and top quality fresh sushi rolls and sashimi. Yuki Hana needed a website that would showcase their signature menu items, display full menus, promote special events, and allow customers to book reservations online.

The site was built using WordPress, PHP, CSS, HTML5, and jQuery. Its content includes an overview of the restaurant, a chef’s page detailing his experience and philosophy, dining menus, events, and contact information. The events page is powered by WordPress’ blog functionality with sharing capability to social media sites. An elegant flash/html5 photo slideshow with stunning custom photography was included on the photo gallery page. The slideshow features an administrative backend for managing photos and galleries.

The menu pages were integrated with the Locu menu publishing service using custom css and javascript. OpenTable’s reservations widgets were added to the header and sidebar making it possible for customers to book tables online.
